DVO: A New Kind of Dinner Party
We invite you to join our dinner club, where intellectual conversation meets connection. Experience a communal dining experience designed to empower women through shared experiences and supportive conversation.
What We’re About
We’re more than just a dinner club — we’re a friend group. Started in January 2025, a group of friends decided to get together and intentionally talk about social issues. Since then, we’ve expanded to four cities and fourteen members. Each city meets once a month with the host rotating. We would love for you to join us!
The Experience
The Topic
The host will choose a topic at least two weeks in advance. Attendees will do research (if necessary) and come prepared to discuss.
The Food
The host determines the menu. Some chapters may choose to have the host responsible for the whole meal, others may choose a potluck style gathering. Check with your local chapter so you will know what to expect!
The Group
A supportive space for women to eat, drink, have thoughtful discussion, and most importantly connect.

DVO is both informative and empowering. It has connected me with strong minded women from diverse backgrounds and brought me friends I would not have otherwise met. Besides bringing community, it has allowed me to learn many things and has made me more socially confident.

DVO introduced me to people I would’ve never met and has led to some of the most invigorating and interesting conversations I’ve ever had. I love having a place to go where we can discuss different points of views and be able to ask questions without judgement. It’s brought me a community where we can have serious conversation while still having fun.
Callie M.
DVO has encouraged me to research new topics and consider worldviews that I may not have encountered on my own, but more importantly, DVO has helped me cultivate real friendships and real community with real women!
Merry Ashlyn G.
I’m so thankful to have found a group of women that want to discuss deep topics that matter, all in the spirit of stretching our minds and hearing new perspectives. Community isnt built on difficult discussions alone, but on being in each other’s homes, sitting around the table, sharing a meal together, and giggling at the lighter side of life. We were made for this!
Kenna P.
DVO is so special to me because it has given me the first space in my life where I can be a part of intellectual discussions that are entirely governed by women 🩷
